Twofer deal can't be beat
Great product. Works perfect on all my garage doors. Batteries inside already. Comes in big box due to safety regarding lithium batteries, even though these are small 3V. Nicely packaged, Youtube video links. A fine company. The two unit deal for $14 is pretty good versus one for $10. They seal these in plastic bags and it did have a bad plastic smell when opened.Replacing a "Orange" button Liftmaster with hand held remote model: 973LM. Orange button means when you open the back of the actual garage door box hanging on the ceiling of your garage you will see an "Orange" colored programming button.Press quickly once and with new remote nearby, press the button you want to use with the garage door. The ceiling unit light will flash when programmed. Now just try the button the remote to see if it works. Repeat with different buttons for other garage doors. If you want to change the code completely on your garage door, e.g. new owner etc. Then hold the orange button down for 15 seconds. Now all remotes will need to be reprogrammed, and if you don't have a wired garage button near your home door, that will need to be reprogrammed also.Garage door planned obsolescence problem. The high-end liftmaster will break at the chain spool rod with a loud boom and shrapnel flying hitting my cars. I have to pay a guy to fix it with a new assembly every 7 years on the money. I told him my parents' Sears Roebuck garage door opener from the 70's vibrates like crazy but has worked with no problems for 40 years. He says, well if you ain't calling me to fix this what work am I supposed to do.I decided to do the fix myself, be safe, and be sure to unplug because the gears will take off your hand if your finger gets stuck. See part Part # 41C4220A to see if this is your problem.* CAN'T PROGRAM THE REMOTE ? *This happened to me. I had to reprogram the remote and it just wouldn't work. The way I fixed it was by tapping the square learn button a couple times while holding the handheld remote button. Be careful not to hold the Learn button down too long (6 seconds will cause all codes to be erased). The LED above the learn button should rapidly blink while you hold the remote button down. This shows the programming is working. If it doesn't just tap the Learn button again while holding the remote button down.if you found this review helpful please indicate below so it will be easy for you to find if you ever need to re-program your remote.

Old school garage remote
I'm glad I could find the old design remotes for an opener with the red learn button. It's reasonably priced, gets the job done & I'll buy this product again in the future if it's needed.

Not compatible or doesn’t work
Purchased several based on other reviews. Followed direction exactly and non of the three remotes worked with our garage door opener. They are willing to allow for a return and the directions were easy enough to follow. If they actually worked I would have given a glowing review. I purchased two “Chamberlain” remotes for $30 each and they worked with no issue. I’d spend more any day for a working product.

1 Minute for Perfection
Received the items and within 1 minute after opening the package, they were working. The battery was already installed in both of the remotes.Pressed the Learn button on the garage door motor and then clicked the button on the remote. Waited 10 seconds and repeated the process on the second remote. All Done.Range is good and the LED blinks to show the battery is working when the button is pressed.Took longer to get the clips on the back of the remote. It is very secure though. These work well.

Great product
For those who own an older model Chamberlain Garage Door opener, this is a great replacement for the old remote. It was easy to connect and most importantly, it works like a charm! I highly recommend this product.
