Riverside Cartop Carriers Ski Carrier Kit

I typically just put my skis inside the car. When I occasionally go with 3-4 people, there isn't room enough inside. Buying an expensive car top ski carrier that would only get used once a year doesn't seem like a good option. I typically strap this so my skis go sideways across the trunk. On my last trip, I had 2 pairs in the rack and a Sporttube with another pair bungeed to those. I felt perfectly confident that everything was secure although that will be effected by the shape of your car, where you put the carrier, and how good you are at securing it. I would definitely recommend for someone who only needs to carry skis occasionally.
