So far it's great!
I received this reel yesterday and I have to say it is so smooth. I spooled it with 10lb mono line and I think it'll be great for my purposes. It has a instant stop and the handle folds in with a button. I don't think I can ask for anything more. Will update if anything changes after a few uses.

Great for kids
The reel is cheap and worthy of dock debris for kids. The poles get dropped, kicked, and I had to jump in the canal to retrieve a few times and they work good. They come with line too! Don’t buy if your going to a competition tournament; instead, perfect for farting around the canal or pond.

A lot nicer than expected, but check the way the line is wrapped on the drum as one was wound backwards.

Cast away!
My husband is an avid fisherman and is constantly switching out his reels. This was a perfect fit for him! Easy to cast, tangle free a d lightweight. He caught a few bluegill and a small bass with this reel along with 20 lb line. I wouldn't use this for large game but it's perfect for the bluegill, bass, crappies!

Good way to save your money.
The metal ring hits the top if I go fast, but generally functional. Good pricing!
