CURT 45005 3-in-1 ATV Trailer Hitch Mount, 1-7/8-Inch Ball, Clevis Pin, 5/8-Inch Hole, Fits 2-Inch Receiver, Gloss Black

The bar that goes into the atv receiver is a about an 1.5in too long to fit a 2021 can-am outlander 850 because the hitch receiver is attached to the differential and isn't as deep as a hitch receiver on a pickup truck, so i had to use a cut off wheel to cut off just a bit of the end that goes into the receiver and it fits perfectly. You could drill another hole if you wanted instead but you'll need like a 3/4in drill bit which i did not have. Battery operated m18 grinder had it cut in 10 minutes and on the ATV ready to go, I would purchase it again as there aren't many 2 in 1 hitches like this and cutting to length was no problem.

I ordered a used item, advertised to be like new for about $10 off the normal price. It arrived in a box that had obviously been opened, but taped closed with “Inspected by Amazon Warehouse “ stickers. It is very solid with minimal to no signs of use. But the box was missing the “included hitch pin”. So, I ordered a $3 hitch pin, rather than returning the whole thing. In the end, I got a-brand name hitch for about the price of a no-name one, and saved about $7. It fits my Kawasaki Mule UTV and the hitch for hydraulic log splitter I need to tow.

I bought this for my 2015 Polaris Ranger. It's a sturdy, well built hitch, and I love the versatility of the 3-in-1. It's a tight fit in the 2 inch receiver. I had to tap it in with a hammer, but I'm sure if I took it in and out several times the paint would wear off and it would go easier. I had the same issue with another hitch that I borrowed, so I actually think it's the Ranger's problem, not the hitch being too big.I haven't towed anything with this hitch yet, but my wife towed the chicken pens around (they're built on wooden hay wagons) with no problem.One thing to note: a hitch pin from a tractor could be 3/4 or 1" (or larger), which will not fit in the 5/8s hole in this hitch. At some point I will buy a 5/8's hitch pin dedicated for the Ranger, because borrowing one off the tractor doesn't work!

I have a 2018 can am outlander north edition. The receiver requires that the pin be 2” or less in order to align the holes to install the pin. This curt unit is 2.5” and required that I cut 1/2” off the end for the pin holes to align. I’m not positive but would think that all or most can am receivers are the same. How do you make an ATV hitch that doesn’t fit without modifications on one of the most popular brands of ATV and call it an ATV hitch? The fix was easy but kind of felt that I shouldn’t have had to do that.

Got this for a 2013 Can-Am Outlander 500. Fits in the the OEM receiver perfectly, but the shank is too long for the cotter pin to go through the receiver. I cut off 3/4” from the end and now it fits perfectly. Just enough room for a trailer tongue to fit under the rear grab bar with the trigger up. Heavy duty steel and a good finish. My trailer uses a 2” ball, but this works fine for using the quad to maneuver it through the back yard. The tow point is robust as well. Quality item for a reasonable price.

Received this extremely quick. Was impressed with speed of delivery, as well as how well made it was. I had been looking for a receiver to attach to my side by side, that i could move my boat in and out of storage with where it takes a smaller ball, as well as have a lawnmower style hole, to pull my lawn sweeper as well. Not i dont have to switch out receivers off my side by side. Very satisfied with price, delivery and quality.
