This was the second sharpener I purchased...I wound up having to order two of them because the blade on the first one did not sharpen anything after about a month. I thought is may have been because of some pencils I order from Amazon that wound up coming from Asia and the wood was sooo hard. So the second one I purchased, I could only sharpen the Prismacolor pencils...all the others just wear down the batteries because it is so hard to sharpen any of them. Very disappointed in this product. I would like to find a sharpener that "plugs in" electrically, not battery operated, which is what I thought I was getting with this one.

Works great. My 7 year old has, strangely, been begging for a sharpener for months. I decided to get it for her for christmas (what child doesn't want a pencel sharpener for christmas? lol) and let me tell you, she's really put that thing through the ringer. She's sharpened all of her colored pencils, and her sister's, at least 4 packs of pencils, and every single unsharpened pencil she could find in the house. And the blade is still going strong! I I haven't had to change the batteries as of yet, either. The compartment with pencil shavings opens easily too. Will purchase again for another child soon

I can't say this is the best pencil sharpener I have ever used...I am so old that I don't even remember all the pencil sharpeners I have used! It works, and it works just fine. It isn't super fast, but it certainly sharpens the pencils well. I could feel / listen to know when the tip was just right. When I put the first pencil in, I thought it was going to bog down, but that didn't happen and I happily sharpened all my colored pencils in a short amount of time.I needed a magnifying glass to read the instructions...mostly I just needed to be sure I was removing the front piece correctly. I used a white label on the outside to mark how the batteries went in.

I am a math student and am constantly having to sharpen pencils. I hate a dull pencil! I have tried the cheap plastic non-electric sharpeners for school and they crack and get pencil points stuck in them. I read the reviews for this and thought there's no way it will withstand all my sharpening needs. Boy, I was wrong! This Pinnakkle sharpener is the BEST! It works well, keeps going for a long time on batteries, and makes great points. You do have to push the pencil in and hold it down, which kinda feels like you are hurting the machine but overall, I would buy another one in a heart beat. I love that it's portable and I can stick it in my back pack.

I know most people nowadays use mechanical pencil but i like to put pressure when i write so mechanical pencil doesn't work for me. That's why i bought this in the first place, i use a lot of regular pencil.This sharpener requires a power either from a wall charger or from power bank to power on. I didn't expect this to be so strong but this thing really has some power to it. It doesn't take a lot for this sharpener to sharpen my pencils and i love it.

It is a gift to my 5 year old son who is getting to kindergarten this fall. so he can sharp the pencils by himself. This one does his work and my boy is pleased for having it. This pencil sharper is 2 AA battery powered, light weight, smooth shelled surface. It is easy to use and very useful for a kid like 5 and older.

Great pencil sharpener for my colored pencils. I try not to have students use the regular sharpener with the colored pencils because it seems to mess up the traditional blade. My only issue would be that it doesn't have the same power due to the battery operation, but overall, it's great!

Super satisfied, good quality. After receiving the goods, my daughter has been playing, especially happy. She was about to start her pre-school class and start using pencils.
