I had hoped that the textures squishiness factor might vary among these balls since they are supposed to supply a sensory experience, but the only thing that differentiates them is color. Not much sensory value; they are packed practically flat and you need a pump. The texture and sizes are all the same. Caution: dogs will want to pop them. 1/5/14 edit: After reading a comment, I bought this pump Champion 12" Inflating Pump W/ and they do inflate and hold air. I do really like the set and my 9 month old and my nearly 4 year old play well with them. My minor complaints are that I thought they were kind of pricey and I wish there had been some more variety...i.e., some that were bigger, smaller, etc. The only difference is one smells and one you can see thru but they all are essentially the same ball just different colors. Overall though a really good product.

I bought these for my friend who is a pediatric occupational therapist. They are the size of a baseball, and the nubsprovide a stimulation when you hold them in your hand.These are priced well, and just as good as the ones my friend has found on professional sites.

My 1 year old son loves these! They are soft. They also have enough gestures making it easy for him to pick them up. I also likes the texture to chew on. Highly recommend for crawlers and toddlers.
