Pravana ChromaSilk Vivids Everlasting Permanent - Violet Reign Unisex 3 oz

I use this color with the no lift developer, so if I haven't bleached it is very dark and tends to fade back into a brown with a tent of purple.If I have bleached it fades to an off-blue, so it needs to be touched up often or a different purple over it.I am guessing if you use a 30 or 40 developer it stays longer, however, I bleach and do bright colors in the summer so I don't want something that isn't hard to pull out.

I started with Pravana Vivids Semi in Violet but it didn't have the lasting power on my stubborn grey even after 7 days on the roots primarily. I'll still use it but maybe as a refresher between permanent color. I have peppered hair and I decided a year ago to transition into grey but doesn't have to be boring, flat, aging, or visually painful. I switched to permeant formula in Pravana ChromaSilk in Violet Reign. All I can say is that I love how it tones out any brassiness, and with this formula it colors my silver white pepper to this dark amethyst purple so that it blends into the natural color. Even when it starts to fade it looks lovely.

Love this product and this color. My hair is white and was told if I wanted to hi-lite my hair I would need to bleach it first 😳 which made the cost too high for me! Had my hair done with this product by another stylist who had her hair frosted with this same product/color and she said no bleaching need and she was correct! My hair looked great and had many, many complaints from men & women of all ages. ☺️It is a true 5-⭐️ Product!

I love this hair dye. Cruelty-free and long-lasting, brilliant color, no weird smells, and covers greys beautifully. I keep the dye on for 40 minutes to make sure it adheres to my grey hair.

I was tired of my color fading after ever wash, so I wanted to try something more "permanent." It does stick better with less transfer after coloring, and there is minimal damage from the product. That said, even if it's only a little damaging, it still requires frequent touch-ups so I think I'll go back to the direct dyes.

This product is easy to use, foolproof, and it comes out the exact color described. FYI, of course the product comes out of the tube white. Most colors do. If you stir it around and let it set for a few minutes….you’ll see.

I don’t use any other brand. It gets the job done beautifully and lasts. It will stain whatever it touches so make sure to double up on gloves, wear clothes you do NOT care about and wash it out thoroughly.

I've had this in my hair for less than 2 weeks. I use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and cool water to wash my hair. I've washed it 3 times since dying my hair. The ends are fading to a bluish grey already. Very dissatisfied with this product. I contacted their customer service line only to be told that since I'm not a professional there is nothing they can do. They won't guarantee the product unless you have a professional license. That means, if you have a student apply the product they bought, Pravana still won't guarantee the product. Will never buy this again.
