These provide just enough extra support. I use SOLE orthotics and add these under the arches. They are comfortable, breathable, and durable. Really worth it for the six-pack so I can line the SOLE orthotics for every pair of shoes.Just a reminder that if you need this kind of support, you can also strengthen your arches with a simple exercise:1. Sit down and take off your shoes and socks.2. Put your socks (or a washcloth) on the floor.3. Pick up the washcloth with your toes. This forces you to arch your foot. These are miraculous! I went to orthopedist for what I thought was a hip issue. It is a back issue with the periformis muscle group that isn't strong plus the fact I have flat feet! He suggested I purchase a pair of these in the hospital gift shop and give them a try. I did, and I had amazing results in that my hip pain STOPPED after 3 wks of wearing. I decided to order some for all of my shoes (they are adhesive and I affixed mine to moveable inner soles), which brought me to Amazon to see if I could buy in bulk. Success! These work very well and provide gentle but firm arch support which you can place in a position customized for your foot and arch. They can augment an existing orthotic if additional arch specific support is needed. Very easy to use.

As flat feet I have, my arch on the left hand side always swollen and feel painful even though I have customized insoles. With this extra arch support, it gives me better balanced and feel more supported on my worst left.

I only received one pair when I was expecting 12 pair as advertised.

I have used in two pair of shoes so far. I used in my sneakers which I found to be very helpful to support my arch. Needed it even though these are supposedly "arch supportive sneakers". Also put in a pair of Clarks sandals. Not attractive but helps. Need to play around with the placement.
