Stainless Steel Scissor Tongs 11-Inch Heavy Duty Grilling Tongs, Set of 2

I've had some tongs for years that had the ends at just the right angle and enough looseness in handling that I could pick up anything. I would try to find a replacement for the tool that had rust and the plastic around the handle was corroding but nothing worked as well. Couldn't even tell who the manufacturer was anymore. I bought these tongs and they worked as well as the old ones and are built better as an added bonus. So I can throw the old ones out if only nostalgia and some kind of warped loyalty was not preventing me.

These are way better quality than most scissor tongs I have found in stores or ordered in the past. I use this type of tool often and have been looking for a quality dishwasher safe and sturdy replacement to the last of the “disposable’ tongs I have in my kitchen drawer. This is it!

These tongs are well made, comfortable to hold, and are angled to reach the food keeping your hand in the safe zone. I had a smaller metal pair years ago that I loved, when they finally broke after 20 something years of use I went with a silicone tipped pair. The silicone tongs were nice but the handle started falling apart and the same happened with the gripping end. I decided to find another metal pair. I saw these and they are like a total upgrade to both the all metal and the silicone tipped tongs. Super easy to grip and pick up items and the handle makes gripping safe and comfortable.

The 10" & 12" straight tongs and the 11" bent tongs are all solidly constructed with well-fitted grips and stiff enough to allow reasonable pressure on the item picked up. The "threads" on the tips are correctly placed on the meeting surfaces and deep enough to provide a grip on reasonable slippery surfaces. I haven't used them yet but predict years of service. Would buy them again.

The tongs certainly are heavy duty. Purchased them to replace 32-year old tongs that were falling apart and hard to use. The rubber handles make the tongs easy to control. The only downside is the thickness of the tongs themselves. The heavier duty metal is large so sneaking the tongs between strips of bacon for example is a little difficult. Overall very pleased with the tongs. They seem well built.

This item has been great for me. I can reach into my pressure cooker and grab food to take out without burning myself. I needed a little more control than regular tongs allow me. I have weak hands due to arthritis and these are working so much better for me.

Absolutely perfect. I have been looking in stores for a good sturdy pair of tongs for two months and couldn't find them. Then, I remembered Amazon and this is one of my best purchases.

These tongs are well made. I was looking for something versatile from pulling pickles out of a jar to using them on the grill. These do the job. No slipping and the best part is the handles don't get hot.

I bought these for barbecuing and thought that the metal tongs part were 11 inches and instead it’s the size of the piece including the handles, so they are too short for what I wanted them for. Other then that, these are great, very sturdy, just a little stiff which I’m sure will loosen over time.

Best pair of tongues we have bought. Handles are comfortable for my larger hands. Through out many pairs plan to keep these for years.

Still fairly new but these are really nice tongs.Feel sturdy in the hand and the rubberized grip is excellent.

Hope it loosens up a little. Very stiff, but works and grips well.
