Great for special use cases where Wi-Fi and traditional Ethernet are not an option.
This is an excellent product especially if you have situation where Wi-Fi or traditional ethernet cabling is not an option. I actually have 4 of these of now. Two of these I've been using for a couple of years now and another pair I just picked up this past month (May 2025). For a while I did have to occasionally unplug one of the units to reset the connection. But since adding some very low cost ferrite cores to the cabling, I've not had to do any resets. There are just a few caveats before selecting a product like this. First, it does use a lot of frequencies in the shortwave spectrum. While they do notch out the ham bands (to avoid interference to amateur radio operators) if you listen to shortwave outside of the ham bands, you will experience interference from these units. The other caveat is that your home wiring must all come from a single central breaker box. If you have your home wiring split across different circuit breakers, the networking used by this unit cannot cross to the other circuit.

Product works great!!!!
We previously used a set of power over Ethernet (POE) 1200 AV2 type adapters to provide internet in our workshop which is 400 feet from our house for which the signal had to go through two electrical breaker boxes. This adapter set worked ok, but everytime the shop lights or electrical equipment was used electrical noise disrupted the signal. Due to having issues with receiving WIFI in a studio in our house, we decided to update the current POE to the Nexuslink Wave 2 G.hn Powerline Adapter. After reading all of the reviews associated with 2 G.hn technology it was hoped that this would provide better throughput in our studio and the workshop. Specifically, one adapter is connected in a A/C outlet next to the router in one end of our house, the 2nd is connected at the other end of the house in the studio, and the third is connected in the workshop. Setup was simple. After plugging in one after the other and ensuring each are connected properly, I pushed the security button on the adapter near the router first for 10 seconds, then repeated the process for the other two adapters. The one in the workshop connected instantly with no issues. The one in the studio (in the house) needed for me to once again push the security button on the adapter near the router for 10 seconds again and then repeat the process on the adapter in the studio. It then connected with no issues noted. The throughput in the studio is fantastic! With the wireless adapter the internet speed was slow, but with the Nexuslink GPL-2000PT-kit the speed was obviously faster! The adapter in the workshop is better and have not experienced any signal disruptions yet. However, since the signal has to go through two breaker boxes the connection speed seems to be faster. Lets hope the 2.Ghn technology performs better overall there. I am happy with the units, its an affordable way to get internet to remote areas that are on the same electrical circuit. I recommend these!

Beware -not
Absolute garbage. Don’t waste your money. Terrible product description. These only work as a set, and most of these products are sold as a set. Not these. They are sold individually and no where does it mention that. Not even going to test it, just return it.

2000mpbs Returned Product
So, buyers beware. The ONLY reason, and I repeat, the ONLY reason this gets two start is ease of installation. It took me all but a couple of minutes to get it going. However, I should have been more cautious of the reviews. 2000mbps is a laughable claim. My IP is able to get 1000mbps. I couldn’t even get 90mbps with the wired connection. My 5GHz wifi gets at least 200 on rough days. Returning this product at a 2000mbps rate though. Don’t waste your time people.

Speed highly overstated, but it works.
Speed highly overstated, but it works. My connection is near ideal, less than 20 feet of house wiring between the two devices, and on the same side of the transformer, yet it comes nowhere near being Gigabit speed. It does do slightly over 100 Megabit, whereas my WiFi does just under 200 Megabit and my Ethernet cable does over 300 Megabit (the cable company's limit).I've had similar devices before and they seem to crap out after a few months, so I'll update this review when (if?) it does.I gave it four stars (a gift) because I only need 100 Mbs (cat 5) speed. If I needed more speed, I'd only give it two stars. Interesting note: in the owner's manual it states that at 40 Mbs it turns on the "its going full blast" indicator light (green) whereas below 40Mbs you get yellow or red lights. Obviously they have really low standards for its performance. If your situation has worse house hiring, you can expect worse results. If you don't know which side of the transformer (USA/Canada) your outlets are on, you might get terrible results. If you buy this, install it in its final location and thoroughly test it before the return period expires. If you're planning on moving it around, or add additional units, test it with every combination of outlets that might occur. With three outlets A,B, and C, It might work well for A-B but poorly for A-C and/or B-C. This is not necessarily the vendor's fault (except for the over-hyped speed claims), but it is the fault of the technology being used, which is shaky at best.
