Ok when picking up something light from oven but heat comes through when it’s a heavier oven dish

Going from old-knackered cheap oven gloves to these, was brilliant. I am no longer burning my hands and hurrying to put things down after holding them for a split second. I can grip things easily in them, the magnet allows me to keep them in place (i have a small kitchen so they live on my extractor.)just a warning for other idiots like myself. that red tab?? that is not fireproof. if you absentmindedly put your oven gloves down not looking where you're putting them and that red tab gets too close to a gas hob that is on. then you'll suddenly smell the awful smell of burning and realise, OH GOD ITS ON FIRE. but it only affects the red tab, not the glove... not... not that it happened to me... of course.. naturally.. ahem.long story short? if these oven gloves can survive my stupidity i think you'll be fine.

Great oven gloves,do the job,comfortable and durable

These gloves do the job but would be better if they were machine washable. They are also handed with the heat protection on one side only. This might seem to be a strange comment, but a lot of the time only one glove is used. By Murphy's law, this means that most times one needs the other glove.
