Great Buy
These earbuds are of great quality, if you're looking to use them for more personal use than gaming (walking around to use with your phone) it can be somewhat awkward due to the 2 meter long cable. They also work great though, and I love the 2 mics. I use the detachable mic when gaming and when I use them for everyday stuff I use the built-in mic. The rubber hook that actually goes in your ear isn't uncomfortable, and it really does help the earbud stay in place. I've used them for workouts and running and the earbud stayed in, and never once slipped off. As far as sound fidelity, they're great. The earbuds also do a very good job in the noise-cancelling department, which is a feature that I truly enjoy. They're a great buy, specially for the price(UPDATE 4/10/2016)The green "hook" that goes inside your ears can begin to irritate the ear if you wear the product a bit too incorrectly; as previously stated the earbuds stay in perfectly fine during my workouts/runs. i haven't had the earbud completely fallout of my ear; it hasn't moved from my ear while gaming. The sound is at its best when you wear the right size earbud rubber cover, too small and there's too much outside noise penetration, too large and it can be uncomfortable. The only thing that upsets me at times is the detachable Mic. It's a great feature and I love it, but I feel that there was a lack of physics backing that attachment. Depending on how you bend the mic it can cause the left earbud to sag, which then causes the ear-hook to irritate the inner ear after long sessions. However a simple fix that I found was that I just contour the mic to my cheek and the sagging stops, as the friction between the mic and my cheek is enough to support the mic. If you;re reading the review you might also be wondering how do I exercise with a two meter cord; i have made folds with the wire so that the total cable distance is much smaller. To hold the folds I used the small wire cables that tie the average loaf of bread. I used three ties, since two left the middle dangling and the multiple lines created by the folds were exposed and created like a web that caught my hand, and other objects. I also enjoy the smaller distance since I primarily use them on the PS4 remote. Overall I am satisfied with the product, I just wish Mad Catz added different size hook, that would earn this product the coveted 5-star review.

Great portable gaming headset (4/5). Not so great for listening to music for long time (1/5).
There hasn't been any review of this yet so I figured I'd pitch in.These are pretty nice gaming earbuds with an attachable mic. The mic is flexible, so it'll bend however is needed to suit your needs. The sound quality of the mic is pretty clear with the exception of a slight buzzing (I'm not sure if this is caused by the laptop or some other source when using PC, but there is no buzz when using with a cell). The earphones fit nicely in my ears (usually a medium/large size for earbuds). They can hurt after some time due to the wings pushing against the ears, but once in they are snug and will take quite a bit of force for them to be accidentally pulled out. I do wish that MadCatz provided different sized wings but they do offer different sizes of earbuds and a nice small carrying bag.The sound quality from the earphones are great. Very crisp and clear audio with both high and lows.Overall I would definitely recommend these if you're in need of a more portable gaming earphones. For long hours of casual listening to music, look elsewhere as these will hurt your ears if used for an extended period of time.UPDATE (2/13/16): So apparently the other end in a video call will hear music playing while using the mic. I found this out while using it in a Skype call. Not too inconvenient as I can just not listen to music during calls. But can be an annoyance while in-call in Discord as I like to have an ambient music in the background while gaming with others.

They were aight
First off, don't underestimate how annoying the 6 ft of wire is. In the first days the cable is going to be extremely annoying, but after a week you'll get used to it. The earbuds themselves feel like cheap plastic. The audio itself is good for the price. As someone that uses earbuds for around 7-10 hours a day, your ears will hurt. After three months of use, the left earbud stopped working. The volume control was a bit janky. When you lower the volume it kinda messes up the audio difference in both earbuds (in one earbud music is louder than in the other). Overall, the earbuds are good for gaming, but if you are planning to take them to school or to exercise I'd recommend earbuds with a shorter wire or wireless as 6 ft is a bit overkill. Sound quality wise, you are getting what you paid for.

Received used, broken, and missing parts
Bought for $14 from amazon warehouse deals. Arrived missing the "in ear stabilizers," and unable to produce any low/bass tones. Higher treble and mid tones were really crisp and clear. Couldn't judge fit because of missing parts.I really liked the boom mic, and was told by teammates that it was very clear.I initially filed to return this headset, but ultimately kept it for spare parts to use with the ThermalTake model instead.( Tt eSPORTS ISURUS PRO Detachable Microphone In-Ear Gaming Headset (HT-ISF-ANIBBK-19) ) I liked this boom mic better because it's so much more adjustable than the thermaltake one, and where else would i ever find a replacement boom mic for $14, plus extra set of rubber ear gasket things too.The Mad Catz item I received had been opened, and was broken. It should not have been resold. If it worked as well as the ThermalTake headset I bought instead then I would have loved it. Still a great price for use as replacement parts.

Great lightweight mobile headset
I have been using these for a few weeks now and I have enjoyed them so far. I use them primarily for video gaming and voice comms while using my laptop. They feel very solidly made. The microphone is flexible but not flimsy. The inline controls work well and the volume slider modulates volume smoothly. The microphone quality is ok for the price range. People say they hear me clearly but slightly muffled. Not enough to be a drawback. The only downside I have is that they become uncomfortable for extended use. They do stay in the ear quite well though.Overall a quality headset for mobile use such as when traveling or when you need something lightweight and compact.

Started fine but now echos everything.
Good as a portable headset but after 6 months something has shorted out and all audio going out the earbuds is also going back into the mic. Whether I mute the mic or not. So now unusable. Yay.

A Nice Lightweight Solution
I've only used these for just over a week as of writing this review. (Writing as of Feb 13)I ordered these on a whim to try as I was tired of using bulky headsets for everything and having two pairs of headsets (One for PC and one for Consoles) seems to take up a decent amount of space when storing them. When I got them, the product was exactly as described. Nothing was out of place and it came a mic/audio splitter for your computer along with various sizes of those rubber pieces that go in your ear. These are fairly comfortable earbuds. The audio quality is pretty good for an earbud, and the detachable mic has surprisingly great sound. Having the mic be detachable is great, meaning I can also use these with my phone if I go to the gym. I have yet to try the inline microphone for phonecalls, so I can't comment on that.Overall, I recommend these if you want a lightweight audio/microphone solution that doesn't take much storage space when not needed. Just keep in mind, everyone has ears are different and earbuds might hurt your ear.

Another good Madcatz product
Really good earbuds. Better for FPS than other games, decent for TV and movies, decent for music. Certainly better than other earbuds but not as good as my G930 headset. If you want really amazing, perfect surround sound then obviously you need a good or high end headset but if you want to switch to something lighter sometimes or want portability then these are great. Also if you can't afford a good headset for $150+ then these are a decent trade-off between base models and high end performance. They are stylish, easy to use (pnp), have two types/grades of microphone, are comfortable and are stable in the ear. I hate earbuds generally and find them uncomfortable but these are pretty good. Three size options for earbuds. Madcatz also supports their products like a good company should so anyone that has issues will get decent customer service help. I have a RAT 9 and other products by Madcatz or Saitek and they are a reliable company if you have an issue which is unlikely due to their quality products.
