Awesome set! This was a great deal for this many pieces! Sets at a similar price have half as many pieces. It comes with 7 people (3 kids, mom, dad and grandparents)! There are many unique pieces that my kids love. There are dumplings, food dishes, Chinese lanterns, and lots of furniture that make this set very playable. I also love that it can be set up in two ways, Chinese New Year holiday house and a kindergarten. My 6 year old followed the instructions and built it with little help. It definitely was stretching her attention span which was great. Can’t recommend this enough! Definitely the best value for duplos at fifty cents a piece.

This new Duplo set is a lot of fun and has some very unique pieces. There is a set of three red lanterns that hang on a silcon piece (very cute!). There are also lots of Chinese dishes that make me soooo hungry for dim sum when we play with it. The cutests are the round baskets of steamed buns which stack just like in real life. Very cute! There are also a lot of 2x3 white and turquoise blue pieces which are in short supply in other sets. We built the set on the box when we opened it but after that we build whatever we can think of. There are enough pieces that a lot of different combinations can be made. The only downside is the price tag. They also made the box really big (when a smaller box could have held the same Legos). Can't wait to combine this with our other sets.

Huge. At 227 pieces, this is the largest Duplo set my 4 y.o daughter has ever attempted (same for me too). The builds are split into separate rooms, so it isn't one massive structure, but 3 individual room builds. This makes it more manageable.Versatile. The instruction book shows 2 completely different build themes, one is the "home" theme and the other is the "school" theme. Both themes use the same blocks, but you just instructions on how to build each theme.Unique Blocks. There are many unique blocks/accessories that fit the Chinese New Year theme, that you won't find in any other Duplo sets.Cultural. My Chinese in-laws were probably just as interested in playing with these as my daughter. It was a great bonding experience as they explained the Chinese characters to her. Obviously, your mileage may vary.Value. If you can find this set at regular retail price ($99.99 USD), it is a great value for 227 pieces.

This is a great and huge set of Lego for preschoolers. My kids(4.5 and 2 yrs) enjoyed playing them couple time a week and it has enough pieces to build some actual buildings or multiple rooms.

I got this for my 7 yr old during Chinese new year. She wanted something she could do independently and specifically asked for duplos. She was incredibly proud of herself. She also uses it w her little brothers and is teaching them how to follow the Lego instructions. It was pricy but the self esteem boost and the relationship building w her younger siblings was actually well worth it.

Big duplo set. Nice and easy to assemble. My daughter loved it very much!

This set is so fun! It comes with many different shapes. You can even make a little kitchen with Lego food. I'm a grandma , I love it has little grandma and grandpa Lego people.

First review ! Just got it today and the box is HUGE ! We’ve been waiting for Duplo set that represents Asian people and culture. This is perfect ! Can’t wait to give it to our son on his birthday.

This set is beautiful and comes with many pieces that can become very many different things, including the home and daycare as pictured on the box. Incredible value as compared to other sets. We wanted it to feel like a house, so we stacked the scenes and its’s perfect. We might stabilize with pieces from another set but with a little care, it should be fine as is.

It’s a perfect set for my 2.5 year old daughter who’s really into pretend play. This set is perfect to get before Chinese new year. Such an enjoyable way to connect her to Chinese culture. You can turn the set to a kindergarten theme as well. Great idea to introduce and prepare your kid to daycare daily routine.

It's a very fun set and good for toddlers preparing them for a restaurant environment with the little play food items

I love giving my North American-born kids of Chinese descent toys that look like them since nothing like this was available for me growing up. Great job, LEGO!
