Despite the fan's exceptional performance, I encountered a minor issue with one unit. But fear not! The seller's customer service team was an absolute dream to work with. I reached out to them, and within hours, they responded with sincere apologies and an assurance that they would resolve the issue promptly.And true to their word, they sent me a replacement fan right away, which worked like a charm. This fan looks great, the motor is very quiet, and the light is pretty good. However, the remote control is terrible. I had a great experience with the all-white Sufocor fan and bought this one thinking it would be the same. No. They do have a black one that is like the white one, but this isn't it.Bad features:1. Was hard to assemble because instructions are useless. Once I realized that the fan blade holes are asymmetric this became easier. Remote receiver is very hard to place as it is the wrong size for this enclosure. I can't believe they didn't make this shaped better to fit easily.2. Remote control itself is poorly designed and buttons didn't work. Some had to be pressed VERY HARD before working, essentially making it unusable.3. At first I didn't realize how to change the light color and thought this was broken. But to change color you have to turn the lamp off then on and it switches to the next color. So if you start at 5000 then off/on you get 3000, then off/on you get 2700 etc. This is stupid and confusing to use and is not documented at all in instructions. The white Sufocor I have has a much easier remote with dedicated color buttons.4. After turn on, there is a delay of several seconds before the light turns on.5. The "dimming" of the light is terrible and basically only has a few steps.Having said all this, I did contact Sufocor support and reported these issues. To their impressive credit, they sent me a whole new receiver and remote, as well as credited by CC $20 for the trouble.As mentioned, there is another version of this fan in black with darker wood blades that is exactly like the white one. This has a much better remote. If you want a black/wood fan buy that one instead.My advice to Sufocor: abandon the remote/receiver used in this model and replace it with the other receiver/remote.

We bought 5 of these fans at the same time to update all the fans in our home, now one doesn't work. We've tried replacing the batteries to the remote since that is the only way to operate it but that didn't fix it. The fan didn't last two years.

The fan looks amazing, the blades are solid wood and the motor is very quiet!
