Q: FAQ 1: Oil leaks in the box when I received it. Can I still use it?

All vacuum pumps need to be added little oil for testing before sending, oil cap loosing will cause oil leak through long transportation. Check if the pump body is intact. If is intact, please wipe it. It will not affect the performance of the pump.

Q: FAQ 2: How much oil should I add before using a vacuum pump?

Before use, add oil to the middle of tank scale. Make sure it's not lower or higher than the oil-level line in the sight glass. Please do not run pump with high oil level, it will leak oil from cap when pump works.

Q: FAQ 3: This set is not suitable for my car air conditioner. What should I do?

This gauge set contains almost all the tools needed to repair an air conditioner with R134A. If you want to use this equipment for R410A, you need to purchase additional adapters (1/4" male SAE to 5/16" female SAE) that is not in our product list.

Q: FAQ 4: I only received the vacuum pump, missing all gauges and adapters. What happened and what should I do?

This set was packaged in a large carton, there are two inner boxes, includes pump and hvac gauge. The outer package is labeled "This is a set, Do not separate". If you received incomplete package, please mail us, we will send you missed part.
