This worked perfectly. I bought a different Cat6 to 3.5mm converter set for ~$10 previous to this from a different manufacturer, and it didn't work. Bought this one to try, since it was $10. Worked perfectly.My application: IR commands sent from an iTach IP to IR device, outputs via 3.5mm. I have one of the adapters plugged in directly to the iTach, and it goes Cat6 to my destination to the other side of the house. Cat6 gets converted back to 3.5mm with the other end of this adapter set. I have a coupler to make the end female, and I have an IR emitter plugged into the coupler to control IR for that end point device. I use iRule to send HEX IR commands to numerous iTachs controlling devices throughout the house utilizing one remote. iRule = poor man's Crestron.Hope this helps!

These little devices work great. Plug and play and sound quality is great

I bought these because the monitors at work had no speakers but did have Ethernet cables going to them. I was able to get sound to a Bluetooth speaker 3.5mm jack without issue. I’m not sure how long these will last but they do work going a very long distance.

Used this product to 'pipe audio' to a room 65ft away. Worked exactly as advertised.

Used them on cable 80 ft long. Work great.Good solution if you have in wall network or phones going to a network room housing audio system.

I needed to extend the IR extension cable from my Fire TV cube to my receiver while being able to control the projector outside of the closet. With a pair of Cat5 cables with rj45 ends available, these adapters worked beautifully! I wish they came with one female to female adapter for my use case (IR extender has a male 3.5mm end), but that wasn’t that hard to get at the same time as this order on amazon.

It works! I was able to put audio on 100ft on CAT5. No signal amplifier need it.

Used it on a cat6 and got a buzz with anything hooked up, switched to cat5e and no buzz with nothing hooked up.
