CableJive - 2 ft. Dock Extender Cable in Black

I bought this cable for use with my I phone 3 G, dock station, and Otter Box. As another review stated, it will not work with the otter box as is. I contacted CableJive and they made no mention of working on a fix for this, but suggested that some users were able to file the cable down to fit into the otterbox. I did so using a hand file and it works great. Its important to take off a little bit at a time to narrow the plastic around the plug that goes to the phone and round the corners to go into the otterbox. Just remember that its on you if you screw it up. The sound quality is just as good as if my phone was plugged directly in to the dock station, and all functions work such as charging etc.

Why would you make a cable that is wider than the Apple cable and not disclose it in the description? That is the question here.If you want to use this to increase the length of a cable, be sure that you do not have any type of case (e.g. Otterbox) that expects a standard sized Apple cable. This is wider than the Apple cable and so is not useful with a wide range of cases.It is not rocket science to create a cable with ends the same size as the standard cable. Hopefully someone will make a cable extender with standard sized ends.

I got this product so that I could extend a cable in my car's audio system for an iPod/iPhone hook-up. There is no loss of audio fidelity or clarity compared to the other cable I was using before. The cable is a little thicker and less flexible than I thought it would be, but this testifies to the durability and strength of the cable itself. The dock connector part is maybe the only aspect of this product I have a qualm with but one that I doubt has a remedy. The dock connector has to be wiggled into the iPod or iPhone that you plug in and I wish that it could be more like the Apple cord that I have that does not require you to press the sides of the connector cable to remove it. This is a small and inconsequential difference but it is a difference based on my preferences and desires for a perfect product. Because of that I give this product a 4 instead of a 5, not because of quality but because of one particular design aesthetic. I would recommend this product to friends and I would tell them that it works perfectly.

I was dissapointed with this item as my sole purpose for spending the outlandish price on this cable was due to the fact that I just got an OtterBox for my IPhone. Well the problem is that the case is rather annoying to get on and off so sheding it nightly to dock/charge my Iphone was somewhat out of the question. This cable does not fit inside the OtterBox. My Rocketfish car charger and standard Apple wall charger both fit no problem. The problem is that they use a connector that is roughly 2 times bigger then necessary. Fortunatly I own a Dremel and was able to bring down the edges of the connector so that it would fit. I feel that this is just a HUGE oversight on the cable manufacturers design. Most of the people that I've spoke with got the cable due to docking case issues as well.Short story. This cable dosent fit like it should and will need "resizing" on the part of the consumer to fit most cases.

FWIW this plugs in fine on my phone with the otterbox defender on it.i noted that some people needed to reduce the plastic a little bit with sand paper but i did not need to.Works fine. Charging and playing music with a speaker dock that wont accept the phone with the otterbox defender....

Product is exactly what I was looking for to extend the dock cable in my Mercedes E class sedan. Surprised that I get a message each time on the iPhone saying the accessory is not fully compatible--it is just a cable. What pin did you do wrong? At least it works. Also, many other cables have a locking mechanism to squeeze to remove and this does not seem to. But it works and let's me dangle the dock cable through the edge of the glove box and install my iPhone each time to listen to music and podcasts over the radio.

It served its purpose when the docking station wouldn't allow my iphone to connect due to the iphone case. This worked great until I got a new case and then the extender didn't connect through the new case. There's always something with these cases.

So gave it a try but the connection end kept coming loose from one end, and lasted about month or so. At first thought it was and looked like a good quality cable but ended up not being that way. Able to buy probably same cord for half the price if not more then this one and quality will be the same

私はこのケーブルを、カーオーディオにiPodをAUX接続する際の延長ケーブルとして購入しました。LogitecのiPod用シガーチャージャー付オーディオケーブル（LHC-ACI01）と組み合わせ、愛車のカーオーディオにiPodをAUX接続していました。大満足でしたね。まずこの商品が素晴らしいのは、ケーブルが太く頑丈、しかし柔軟性は充分なこと。またコネクタロック機構が付いていて、接続したiPodをがっちり固定してくれること。LHC-ACI01単体にもロック機構はありますが、容易に外れる設計のため、不意に外れてしまうことも多かった。なのでこの組み合わせはとても使いやすかったですね。そして、LHC-ACI01が持つ充電機能やエンジンオフ／一時停止連動機能もそのまま機能します。また、耐久性についても問題無しだと思います。購入してから2年ほど使用しました。この商品は延長ケーブルとしては高価かも知れませんが、安価なものを探し回るより、最初からこれを買うほうがずっと良いかと思います。安価なものは、やはり品質や使い勝手、また耐久性に問題があることが多いです。

iPhone 4/4S LifeProof Case - Gen 2 のコネクターにドック対応した延長ケーブルを探していました。Dockコネクタがスマートになったということで、ばっちり使えました。ケースのドック部分のカバーに多少無理がかかるのですが、ケース対応のスペーサーでも同じようになる、ということなので、そんなもんなんだろうと思います。また、当方、カーナビKenwood 彩速ナビMDV-737DTで使うつもりで買いました。音楽再生、YOUTUBE再生、専用ソフトのカーナビとの通信にもしっかり対応しています。　30ピン配線ということで、いろいろな外部機器にも信頼して使用できるものと思っていますが、そのかわりケーブルが太いです。3〜4ミリの太さがありますので、取り回しにはやや難ありですが、自分はあまり気になりません。またケーブルの長さは、用途によっては自分の思う以上に短く感じるかもしれないので、しっかり確認することをお勧めします。自分はカーナビから運転席に伸ばすだけだったのでちょうどよかったです。

SANWA SUPPLY 500-IPW001の送信機側のコネクタとiPhone4Sの本体を延長ケーブルで接続するため購入しました。30ピンフル結線の予定で購入しましたが、結果、目的を達せませんでした。Wi-Fiの接続は認識できたのですが、Video映像が受信できない、とのメッセージが表示され使えませんでした。Dock Xtender Cable 2feet Blackケーブルのオス側のコネクターを目視する限り、14/17/22/24/26/28ピンがないので、どうやらフル結線ケーブルではないようです。フル結線を想定されている方は注意した方がいいです。

この手の延長ケーブルはモノによってはきちんと動作してくれないものがある、とレビュー等で読んだ。しかし本製品ならばちゃんと動作するよ、と書かれていたので、それを信用して購入した。うむ、確かにきちんと動作してくれる。製品のつくりもしっかりしていて、自分としてはとても満足。本製品は確実に大丈夫だ。

iPod touch 3G(32G)と、LogicoolのPure-Fi Anywhereを使用していますが、動画を見たいときや、カバーフローをしたいときなどには画面を横にできないので、こんなケーブルがあれば良いなと思っていました。現在はPure-Fiにケーブルを指しっぱなしでその手前に自作スタンドを置いてtouchを乗っけて使っています。充電、音楽再生、動画再生問題なくできています。ただ、他のレビューにあるように、コネクタがでっかいのと、ケーブルも太くて私のように狭い領域で使おうとする人には少し不向きかもしれません。ただ、ガッシリしているので安定感があり、断線などの不安はありません。

iPad2とiPad Hi-Fiを繋いでいます。実際に使ってみると2ft意外と短いです。実際に紐とかで長さ確かめてから買うといいと思います。音が良くて気に入っているので、長いのを買い足しする予定。長さは考えて購入したので、製品に対する星は５つです。コネクトもガッチリしていて安心出来ます。

オンキョウのNDーS1000を購入し、IpadにMacintoshアプリを入れてアナログアンプ調なメーターを表示をさせて自己満足的に使用したくNDを購入後にケーブル延長しない事には話にならない事に気がつきELECOM社製品を購入したのですが音が出ず、困ってしまいAmazonの商品検索をして、この商品にたどり行きました。購入後、相性も良く音・オンキョウのリモコン操作でもIpad側も反応して次の曲・一時停止など動作してくれています。前のEL(返品不可)はお勉強させてもらったとおもい、諦めました。チョット贅沢ですが、コネクターロック機構が付いていれば、良かったかな。でも、夜くらい所で音楽鑑賞していると本格的なオーディオ機器で聴いている感じがして最高な自己満足的ににひたれました。

オーディオテクニカのヘッドフォンアンプAT-HA35iと第五世代ビデオiPodをつなぐのに購入。35iにDockアダプターを介してiPodを直刺ししますと固定はされますが、操作時にiPodに触れますとどうしても少しぐらつき、Dockコネクター部が痛まないかと心配でしたが、本品でその心配がなくなりました。造りはしっかりしていて、機器にカチッとはまります。ただ、ケーブルが少し硬く、狭い所では取り回しにくいです。音質ですが、やはり本品を介しますと、音の鮮度が落ちます。良く言えば音が柔らかくなり、悪く言えば音がこもる。僅かの差ですが、どうしてもそうです。従って音質的には直刺しが望ましいですが、仕方ないですね。こういう製品で高音質仕様のものが発売されれば、少し高くても是非購入したいところです。PS. 二台あるiPodの内、固定用として一台を本機に直刺しし（クリアケースに入れた30GBのiPodで、Dockアダプターは80GB用クリアケースに付属のものなので、iPodクリアケースの背に薄い板を当ててDockにしっかり止まるように工夫）、後は35iのリモコンで全て操作できますので、本品は外してしまいました。すっきりした音に戻りました。音質の違いがそう気にならない場合は本品はもちろん使った方が良いと思います。

i-podをi-pad用のキーボードを使用する為に買いましたがiCloudを利用するとあまり必要がなくなってしまいました

本ケーブルですが、流石に全結線だけあり多数のアクセサリが利用可能です。しかし、アナログ音声に関しては延長するので当然ノイズが乗る事を前提に考えた方が良いと思います。特に、iPadは本体内でもアナログ音声を引き回した上本ケーブルを使用するとノイズ大会になります。iPhone4では、内部チップからDockコネクタまでの距離が短いのでノイズは許容範囲内です。あくまでもアナログ音声については延長という事を念頭においた方がよいと思います。

Hier endlich eine Verlängerung die verlängert.Hört sich blödsinnig an, aber leider bieten fast alle Verlängerungskabel Einschränkungen in der Funktion. Es scheint nicht leicht zu sein ein Apple Kabel 1:1 zu verlängern?!Dieses hier wird verwendet für Verlängerung Auto Dock VW und Audi. Alle Funktionen stehen zur Verfügung. Laden, Audio, Steuerung -> Titel, Interpret, Playlist usw...Also alles prima.

Wenn Sie Ihren iPod oder Ihr iPhone nicht direkt an ein entsprechendes Dock anschließen können oder wollen, istdieses Kabel die beste Wahl.Und wenn es sich um eines der beiden ganz besonderen Docks handelt, die das Musiksignal digital abgreifen können (dürfen !),ist es sogar die einzige Wahl, die diese Aufgabe zufriedenstellend erfüllt.

Gute und saubere Qualität. Der Vorteil eines solchen Kabels liegt darin dass keine passenden Schalen oder Aufnahmen für unterschiedliche iPod Modelle benötigt werden.Dies gilt vor allem auch für ältere iPod Car Adapter. Absolut perefekt in Verbindung mit einem Adapteraufsatz der die Gen. 5 Ipod auf die alte Norm wandelt.

全てを試したわけではありませんが、全て配線ということなので、全て動作すると思います。一部、録音系が作動しないとのレビューもありますが、それは「Dock Extender Cable 」のほうではないでしょうか。そちらはLine In省略のようです。一文字違いで紛らわしいです。また、色もそちらには白のラインアップがあったり、値段が安かったりするので間違いやすいと思います。さて、こちらの「Dock Xtender Cable」は端子が大きく見えるものの、実際は厚みこそ純正より1mm厚いのですが、幅は純正とほぼ同じで、ケースやイヤホンと干渉しにくくなっています。他の方のレビューの通り、ジャックのほうは奥まで刺さりませんが、しっかりしていることから、短い端子のアフターパーツをきちんとさすための工夫だと思います。ケーブルは太めで取り回しにくいのですが、30芯のケーブルなら仕方がありません。実際に使ってみると、カーオーディオを含めて全て動作しました。音質の変化も聞き取れません。ただし、ラインではなくFMトランスミッターでカーオーディオに使うようなケースではわずかにノイズが入る可能性がありますが、それはケーブルを延長すればほとんどのケーブルで起こります。全体的に他のサードパーティの製品よりしっかりした作りです。フル配線が必要な方に。
