Excellent wireless door bell. Easy to install and has a lot of different tones you can select from.Dropped it down to 1 star. Unfortunately, it quit working less than 8 months after I bought it. It doesn't get a lot of use and even after replacing the battery, we can't get it to work. Looks like an issue with the push button but can't recommend it since it isn't very durable. Really liked the various selection of sounds and the ability to move it anywhere in your home where there is an outlet. But if it doesn't work, that makes it all bad.

This is great!! I recently moved into a condo that had a doorbell outside but it didn't work. I spent forever trying to locate the box inside the house, thinking that maybe it was battery operated and had a dead battery. Turns out, the doorbell on the outside is a "dummy" bell and only there for looks. I then found this one on Amazon and received it in two days. It literally took me 2 minutes to install the exterior part next to my front door and then the inside unit simply plugs into any existing wall outlet. This unit is amazing! I had so much fun trying to determine which type of chime I wanted to use. There are tons and I love that they have seasonal ones. I can't wait until Christmas, when I can change it to a Christmas-related chime. My son (5) is obsessed with this. He always wants to ring it and cycle through the different chimes. I located it at a central point in my home and I can easily hear it from anywhere in the house. I like that it lights up as well in the event the kids are napping and I don't want them to be awakened. You can see it light up when someone pushes the button outside. My neighbor saw it and immediately ordered one since she had a fake doorbell as well. Don't bother looking at the other units. This is perfect.

UPDATE: I originally gave this a 5 star review but after a week of having it and being used probably 5 times it barely works. Sometimes it won't work at all, sometimes the light on the button will just blink and sometimes it will actually work. We wasted money on new batteries. Paired it over and over again. Moved them close together and still acts up. Complete waste of money on garbage.

Worked great at first, but stopped working after about six months as others have said. And that's not the strangest part of it... For the last two weeks, when the button is pressed the chime indoors no longer rings BUT other electrical devices in the house act up. Someone pressed the doorbell button today to deliver a package. The coffee maker, stove and microwave clocks in the kitchen went to flashing 12:00. An alarm clock in a bedroom started blinking 12:00 and a small boombox my daughter was listening to shut off. The baby monitor in the nursery also shut off. All when the button was pressed. Second time this has happened in the past week, only the time before we didn't put two and two together since we were gone, got home to a package at the door, and some of the clocks flashing 12:00.

We were so happy with this when it arrived! My husband "installed" it but was really easy and only took him a couple of minutes. There is no wiring to do inside He house, just plug it in. We had fun picking which of the 55 tunes we were going to use and then selected the volume we wanted it set at. I have three children under five and all of them still nap. I'm pleased to say that when the postman came to deliver a package this morning, they were undisturbed. If you live in a smaller house, yo can even mute the sound and it will just light up instead. Of course if you choose to, you can set the volume louder and it can be easily heard through your home as the range is very good. If you're outside, you can plug it in on your back porch or something and still hear when there's someone at your door! Very happy with this doorbell and would recommend to others!

worked great for 1-2 weeks then the sending to receiving unit seemed to stop communicating and the doorbell never rings at a distance of 250 feet.I bought this so the US Post and UPS don't need to honk like crazy to get my attention when they have a signature required package. I suspect it is a battery issue on the sender issue but led lights up as if it is working properly and I can cycle through the receiving units ring tones just fine if you live in a similar environment to mine rural and 250 feet from the gate look elsewhere this unit doesn't seem to be for us. I don't recall any troubleshooting documentation with this product but it did work great out of the box I got at least 100 rings from it before it failed in my environment 4 miles from the Texas Gulf Coast in the deepest part of South Texas in July.

First of all.... WE LOVE IT! It had just the song to play when my granddaughter arrived: Under the Sea! Then it QUIT WORKING!!!!We were so disappointed that she wouldn't hear it, but also that we were going to have to send it back.My husband decided to check it out and see if he could figure out why it wasn't working. Turns out the cheapo battery sent with it lasted about a month. People in their remarks had commented that the battery had lasted a long time the reason we bought it for our beach house since it's a rental. So we went and bought a pair of new 12v batteries and hope that these last until we return to change batteries.My granddaughter did get to hear it play... by pressing the test button on the side of the unit! She did love it. Hopefully with just regular use and a good battery it will last a bit longer.

My mother received one as a gift and really liked it. I looked it up and ordered one for myself through amazon. Everything was great for about a week. My mom's started acting up. She had to pair it again, no big deal. But then it just stopped working (within a couple weeks of installing). Mine stopped working also, and the button feels broken. When you push it in, it just stays in. Seems cheap, or perhaps quality control is bad. Cool idea.
