positives vs. negatives
This is really small, its like as big as a big fist in total including the box. It was a present but it looked quite tiny.Positives: It does have everything you need and the compost really does expand quite a bit to fill the little pot that comes in the box and the box itself is nice and includes clear instructions.Negatives: Apart from the fact that it is tiny, the box only has 4 jalepeno chilli seeds too, which seems a little stingy. I will update my review to let you know how many germinates in the end but it does not seem like the odds are on our side.Additional info: There was a little labelling stick in the box, which I thought was funny and unnecessary. Well the box only has one type of chilli anyway so what am I labelling exactly? if it came with a mixed range of chilli seeds then I see the point of labelling the pots or seedlings.Overall - if you buy a bag of mixed chilli seeds from a garden centre, which I did to increase our chances and varieties, it would cost you 1 pound for like 600 seeds in an envelope. Add a little pot and a bit of compost to that, it won't go over 2.5 pounds overall. so 5 pounds for 4 chilli seeds of the same type seem excessive. Its the packaging and presentation that increases the price but if you are not buying it as a gift and you just want to grow some chillies my suggestion would be to order the seeds separately to get quantity and variety at a cheaper price.

Great but could be better
Great value for money, however the amount of seeds to plant in the container is odd due to the size and amount of seeds given. Great for little kids wanting to grow plants and see the "soil" absorb the water and expand

Tiny little chilli pot
This was much smaller than expected and the seed disc had half crumbled in the delivery. The chilli seeds took much longer to germinate than expected (closer to 30days vs the 10days that was stated) however, all 5 germinated. You have to replant them into individual pots when they start getting bigger. I replanted mine 3 times as they grew. Good sized chillis when they do start producing fruit which I think are the Jalapeño Mucho Nacho F1 variety. Good size and flavour (quite hot) and they are rather solid chillis. They will eventually go bright red if you leave them long enough but most of mine were already eaten by the time one went red. Plants have been kept on a window sill so a good indoor plant.

Green not red but it works!
These are good, but considering you can just buy chilli seeds alone for much cheaper I’d do that in future. All of my seeds grew up to plants but now only one of them is alive and healthy. Lots of chillis growing but they are green not red like the picture suggests. You have to put in very big pots as they grow up.

Rewarding and great fun
Great product as a gift idea. Presented in a neat, cute package with clear instructions on how to grow the chilli's. Only downside was that the plant didn't prosper and died after a few weeks. However, I'd certainly be willing to give this product another try and some point as it's a fantastic idea. It encourages consumer interaction and also makes me feel as though I've accomplished something which makes this product rewarding to use.

Growth
This is after 3 weeks on a south facing window sill, didn't think they were going to grow but popped up yesterday looking forward to seeing how they do - Unsure when and how to repot them though, do you just put the whole little pot into soil? 🤔
