OK I suppose... Very heavy though and needed them to look up my nose.... Lighter ones much better..

As others have mentioned, there are no instructions or information included in the box.You will need 2 C size batteries; I'm using rechargeable's and they're fine.Build quality is machined aluminium (nice!) and hard black plastic (not so nice). The lens is also plastic - mine came slightly scratched.The rotating cuff turns the light on and off, though it is not variable brightness. The magnifying lens is easily rotated out of the way with your thumb.The Specula fix easily and securely to the Otoscope 'nose'.I have no idea how one might replace the bulb.It comes in a nice case with pockets for both the Otoscope and a tube of specula, so they are held securely in place.

When it came daughter undid it and first words out of her mouth 'It's filthy'!!The dust on it was horrendous. Where the stock photo shows a lovely clean instrument, this looks nothing like it.The second thing, no batteries.When we purchase the batteries we'll try it out.Does not come with ANY instructions. Do they think we're all doctors, vets etc?Nope, we are not. We just wanted one so we could check the dogs ears for grass awns during the Summer season.I would not let this near a human if this is the state they all come in.

I have used otoscopes by Litmann and Heine so was pleasantly surprised how well made this one is for the price. It is easy to hold and the light source is even. Comes in a nice pouch with disposable ear pieces. It doesn't have the ability to see if increasing the pressure in the ear canal affects the ear drum or for using concommitant suctiom but for rthe price this is excellent value and gives a good view of the ear canal and ear drum. Recommended

It says on here this takes an 'N' battery which is included this came with no batteries, the instructions that come with this say to use AA batteries no way you can use those, when looking on here again it also says a C battery.I finally got the right battery sorted but the light is super poor, it has a yellow due to it & had flickering issues, the metal smells really, really strong in an unpleasant way made me retch :( do not recommend this.

Very simple to use, check for any inflammation of the ear and also helps prevent wax build up (well can spot build up early). Does require batteries fit the light to work

Neat container with a sleek streamlined otoscope. Gave a full view of ear canal and drum. Great for on the go or when out and about.
