My daughter got this for Christmas only played with it for 1 day and the handle on the fridge keeps coming off everytime you try to open it. Not very well made as it takes the fun out of playing with it

This is definitely a bumper LOL set full of 45+ surprises. I have to say I was pretty impressed when it arrived. This isn’t like a typical LOL surprise doll as in you can see the doll and it is closer to a Barbie style doll instead as it is 25cm. However it still has that LOL style look that everyone is familiar with. This set is a diner play set so the surprises all tie in with that theme.My daughter was very happy with everything that was included in this set. To start with she spent quite a lot of time playing different scenarios with the doll and then got some of her other dolls to join. There are some really fun extras like colour changing items that made it even more imaginative to play with for her.Overall it isn’t exactly the lowest priced product but for the amount of time my daughter plays with it and continues to, it is probably worth it in the long run. All in all I am very happy with this item although I do think it would have been a little more fun to keep more of the surprise elements that you get with a typical LOL doll.

This arrived in a nice and colourful box covered in images of the doll and all the accessories. The box has a big front plastic window with everything on display showing the diner backdrop which is very impactful and certainly instantly excited my six year old daughter.The box opens at the side and the set slides out in one piece. I planned to let my daughter open it all up and unpack everything, but to remove all the fixings, tape and plastic ties it really needs the assistance of an adult or an older child. The packing is not a negative and everything is really well laid out, packed and protected, it’s just more of a note a younger child will need assistance unpacking.While I was helping my daughter remove everything I gave it a good look over to check the quality and finishing, and I was impressed not only by the quality but the attention to detail right down to the smallest items such as the utensils. The manual is multilingual itemising everything in the pack with linked pictures, and giving assembly instruction along with using the UV colour change lights on the oven and grill, drinks dispenser and colour changing features etc. In my opinion for a high end product the manual should have been a glossy book rather than an A4 back and white printed book although it does cover everything you need to know.My daughter played with the set for several hours once it was opened and the doll has yet to leave her side since it arrived. She was extremely excited by this set and has been running through pretend scenarios with her other dolls as customers.Overall in my opinion this is a high quality well made and thought out set. My daughter loves it, and I thought the attention to detail such as the oven lights and grill, drinks dispenser with colour changing cups etc really allowed her to immerse herself into playing out pretend scenarios. Overall in my opinion a great set and the only thing I thought didn’t match the high quality was the manual.

Also, I appreciate that the multilingual handbook lists every piece in the box with associated photos, provides assembly instructions, and discusses how to use the UV colour-changing lights on the oven and grill, the beverages dispenser, and other features that change colour.All in all, this is a well made and thought out set. I think that this will make your kid very elated as it includes fun and numerous toys. At £49.99, this is a good buy and not a waste of money.
