One can be forgiven for assuming that there is little to say about corn cob holders: they should work, or maybe not. But, in fact, there is more to it; they can be so flimsy as to be downright dangerous (I once landed up with one attached to my thumb), or so small that they fail to achieve their designated purpose. These "Diealles" skewers are a pleasant exception to the run-of-the-mill cheap and nasty ones we often see: they are of solid construction and looks and do their designated job well by being easy to insert into the ends of the (hot!) cob, and subsequently providing a firm grip on it. If anything, they look a trifle "massive", but you can't have your cake and eat it!

Two of the nails/prongs came out on the first use, they stuck in the cob.They look nice enough, maybe a one off but not sure of the safety of them.Happened twice to me, l am worried re the safety of them so thrown the remainder of the set away.

Good little set that does a good job of holding the cob. Only downside is the clear plastic hilt can come away from the yellow base when trying to remove from a cob.

My 9 month old loves corn on the cob, but struggles to hold them. These are perfect for him. Great price and very easy for tiny hands to hold.

Had corn holders before and they tend to bend at the spikes and feel flimsy, these are chunky in the hand and the spikes sturdy, like!
