Bought this for use with my portable Dac and android phone and works perfect , this cable is thick and built with quality ,these people complaining about it not working with there devices Don't know how to use there equipment ! this cable does Data , Power , it is truly compatible with anything that uses USB-A and USB-C .

I purchased this to reduce both excess wiring as well as connector stress between phone mount and face-mounted USB port for Android Auto. The item feels incredibly solid; build quality is excellent, all connectors connect with a satisfying click/snap. For this, I am giving it four stars.However, regular use reveals that something (forgive my lack of technical detail) is restricting a consistent enough transfer of data to sustain Android Auto use. Phone is Pixel 3 and the head unit is OEM Volkswagen RCD series. I am aware of Pixel RAM issues--this particular issue is repeatable through all of the latest updates and all sorts of use conditions. I switched back to another third-party USB-A to C cable that I regularly use, and I no longer experience any issues sustaining Android Auto connection under all of the same conditions. This is the best I can do to maintain consistency testing between the two cables. If anyone has any ideas of how I can refine my approach, happy to test further.If the company/seller believes this may be a defective unit, I would be glad to exchange the cable for a replacement and try again (and update my review accordingly). It is hard to find a cable of this length with this many options of angled connectors, and it truly looked super clean in my car, so I'm disappointed that it does not appear to provide true/reliable functionality in my particular use case.

I have a KIA Soul with Android Auto. This is great because my phone now sets in the tray with out all the extra wire from regular cords everywhere. I have had this for sometime now and it has lasted very well without issue which is more then I can say for the standard cords I used before. Very happy with the purchase.

Android auto crashes whenever this cable is installed and the phone is bumped or moved

Works great. The angled end is great for a laptop.

The cord is too rigid. It's hard to maneuver it to plug in my phone. Seems they could have used a more flexible cord and pivot point. After only a few months, my cord is starting to wear and my android auto doesn't stay connected.

I needed a short cable with a right angle connector for in my vehicle. I can now leave the cable in the USB receptacle and close the compartment lid on my console when not connecting my phone in my 2018 GMC Yukon.
