Large-capacity replacement drive fro laptop
1 TB hardrive, giving a litle less than that of usable space (as with all hard drives). This one, unlike some (higher-priced) others, does not have any software for copying the old hard drive. However, with Clonezilla (free download) it's pretty straightforward, although it won't increase your partition sizes (if you have lots of partitions). You can increase partions with Gparted (another free download), so the end result is the same as paying more for a drive that includes software you'll probably ony use once.The drive seems fast enough for my purposes, although I'm not a gamer, so I can't comment on how useful it'll be for that.

Limited to sata speeds but faster than most HDDs, good value
Far faster than most HDDs, however, I picked this up for only £17 and with a free gift card so £13.So if it's over £20, I would recommend getting an NVME SSD if your computer supports it, if not then this is a great cheap sata SSD.

Worked great. Used Acronis to image the original HD and copy data to this drive. Installed and the speed difference was immediate. Gone from 1 minute plus to 5 seconds to boot the PC.
