Easy setup and it works. I think that covers the most important aspects of a garage door opener. It was cheap when I bought it, but prices can change, so all I can say here is that it was a good deal when I bought it. Hopefully it will remain so.It looks just like the picture, nothing fancy, actually a bit dated in appearance. It is sturdy enough for something made almost entirely of plastic. I don't think you would need to be afraid of dropping it.Most of my cars have universal learning remote functions built in and this seems to have about the same range as the built in remotes.Most importantly, when the button is pressed, the garage door it is synced to goes up or down.

I rent an apartment and was having issues with the garage door opener malfunctioning and maintenance saying there was nothing they could do about it. Since I'm just renting, I didn't want to spend a ton of money looking for a fix. This was a really cheap and easy answer to my problem! All I had to do was press a button on the actual opener on the garage ceiling and then pair it with the remote. It has been 6 months of daily use, and it still works beautifully.

We lost our old remote and had to get a replacement. It works great! It has a better range as far as distance from the garage than the original remote. It was easy to program. It took a matter of holding down the button for a few seconds and it was done. The quality of how well its made has been no different from our original. Same as advertised.It was shipped on time.

I almost didn’t buy because another reviewer claimed it didn’t work with his Red button opener motor but then I noticed they purchased a Purple button type! So I went ahead and bought two. All good and working perfectly. My programming was different then what the instructions stated. I had to push the Red button 15-20 seconds until light came on then pushed button on remote and done! So minus one star for improper info.

Bought this as a replacement remote for one that was an original but 18 years old. It works fantastically well and better than I expected! Grant it my original ones are 18 years old so maybe I don't remember how the OEMs felt or operated back then but I can certainly tell you this one works much, much better than my original ones. It feels solid, comfortable and the range is much better.I will not hesitate to buy another one of these when the need arises as I'm a happy camper!

This opener started out working exactly as expected. However once the temperatures outside reached 80, the opener melted in the heat. It’s now unusable. There is apparently a three month warranty on the opener, and I purchased the opener a little over five months ago. After contacting customer service, they are unwilling to work with me on this, even though the fault was due to manufacturing. I understand the need to stick to warranty policies, but this was the company’s fault. I now need another garage door opener, and will be getting it elsewhere.

It worked very well, and is very easy to set up (in less than a minute!) It comes with a clip to attach to your vehicle.I wasn't sure if my garage door was "orange/red" or "purple", so I contacted the manufacturer. In a chat they were able to guide me toward which models would work with my garage door. They were awesome.I should have bought two though because I learned that my cat sitter lost his :o(

Price and delivery were great. Instructions were labeled for a different model. Instructions also lacking one crucial step. You must clear existing codes out of unit to get new signal code to be accepted. I did a little research to figure this out. I would buy this again. Good value for the money. Just don't give up right away.
