My socks were just delivered 20 minutes ago and I am so pleased with them! I felt that I should review them immediately. The insides are incredibly soft. There is a lot of stretch to them and even though the picture shows the elastic at the top as small, it stretches too, and is not binding on my calf. I ordered large and it is too big for me. They will work great for my purpose of layering both socks together. I’m recovering from extensive foot surgery and as it heals it constantly feels very cold. I will layer both socks in the air cast boot I’m required to wear. My foot will be cushioned and warm. A+++++I just ordered 3 more pair, but this time in a medium. I wear a size 10-11 shoe and I’m sure that the medium will fit perfectly.

Nice and cozy

These are so warm and cozy! My dad loved these! Really keep his feet warm!

I bought these for my wife, who wears size 8 women's shoes, and they were supposed to be "medium". But when they arrived, there was no indication of size anywhere on the packaging or the sock and they were way too large; there was plenty of room in them for my feet and I wear size 11 men's shoes. Apart from that, my wife likes the socks and uses them as bed socks. I later found the same socks on Amazon branded "Heat Holders" that are sold in real sizes; I got my wife a pair of those in Women's Medium; this time the size was on the package and they fit.

She loves these socks and now has comfy and cozy feet! These are same TOG as heat holders ones but are a little thicker.

I was expecting them to feel like my old wool hiking socks. Snug to the foot and functional.Instead, I stepped into a bit of heaven. The inside reminds me of my favorite soft and fluffy teddy bear from when I was a kid.The outside stripes look a little like rugby socks for a touch of the Jockette feel. ha haI have mine on right now and the second pair is in the wash. Need a few more to round out the week.

So, so warm! Excellent for sleeping when camping in the cold. Think of the thickness when ordering to wear in shoes or boots.
