Capital Mysteries #5: Who Broke Lincoln's Thumb?

My daughter is obsessed with these books. They’re below her reading level as a 4th grade who’s reading high school level books. But she loves them and the mystery.

These are great book for learning about Washington DC or even for kids that love to solve a mystery. My children ages 6-9 can't wait to solve the problem, they start guessing who or what did it in the beginning of the book. The books have a lot of facts, so it's educational. Although its educational, the writer puts in a fun and easy to learn way. My children want me to buy the who series.

In the book Who Broke Lincoln's Thumb, KC and Marshall are trying to figure out who broke the thumb off a statue of Abraham Lincoln. I think this book is a great book to read because it's very suspenseful. For example, you might have thought someone else broke Lincoln's thumb. Also it's interesting and I think you should read it and I think you should buy this book today!

After a recent trip to Washington DC I was hoping my son would like these books. We started here and he can’t wait to read the rest!

We read this together in one sitting. My kids wanted to keep reading and not just do a few chapters at a time! Kept everyone's interest from age 7 - 13. A good fiction story with some history added in too. We're going to be reading other books in this series too!

Both my boys ages 8 & 10 just love the books in this series. These really keep their interest.

I recommend to poeple who are 8+. This book was really good but he/she could do it better. Read this book for your son/daughter or grandson/daughter

Second grade and she was excited to tell me she read this book in 3 days she loves the series I bought several and I would recommend them they held her attention
