Pet Remedy - the miracle remedy for stressed pets
Brilliant product! Had to buy this 'in an emergency' some months ago as I was getting desperate to try anything to help a new cat settle with my existing two - and had tried everything else. Myself and a few friends have the 'difficult to home' rescues - the ones that no one else would take due to their behaviour so it is always a slower process than normal to get these pets really settled. This seemed to be the first product that has actually helped. After the experience with my 'new cat' introductions I have used it with friends who have dogs who are nervous around Bonfire Night, with stressed rabbits, with another friend who's dog gets too excited about everything! That particular dog would be a nightmare if I was in the car with them - she would clamber all over me for how ever long the journey was - so I'd regularly have an hour or so of being trampled (which was not just unpleasant but also dangerous). The first time I used it on her I just sprayed some on a flannel and as soon as she started just gave her the flannel to tug at (in stead of my clothes) and it worked like a charm - within seconds she was already calmer and in under 5 minutes she was the most relaxed in the car that she had ever been. Since then I won't be around any 'skittish' animals without having this product handy as it really does work and makes situations a lot less stressful for them. It has a very 'unusual' aroma - which can take a bit of getting used to - but it just smells 'natural' - sort of strangely herbal (which I find much better than synthetic chemicals of some others.) I am so confident in this product that on this occasion I have bought multiple bottles so that other friends with problem pets can use this too. It really has helped every pet - cat, dog or rabbit - that I have used it on.

Seems effective
Really did seem to help our nervous dog on bonfire night (should be banned!!). Sprayed on his blanket and bed and he did seem to settle much easier. Small price to pay. Wish I’d discovered it earlierUpdate: used over the New Year celebrations, when the fireworks were at their worst. My nervous fur baby barely gave two hoots. Sure, he was still a LITTLE nervous but nothing like the nerve-wracked, on edge doggie that we’ve come to expect. This bottle will last absolutely ages and I mean AGES!! And, for all the above mentioned points, this is really excellent value for money

Takes the edge off for anxious dogs but doesn't cure it
My dog is terrified of bikes, cars, skateboards, wind moving leaves, beach waves, people etc... Literally everything when she's outside.... She's always on high alert in case her 'enemies' are around.I have used it for over a week and I must say it helped a little, she seemed to be more relaxed on the walks. But only in a sense that she is not as alert to look/wait for bad things to happen... She enjoys a little stop and sniff now instead of pulling us to get away from busier roads etc. But, when car passes she is as scared as she was. This definetely took the edge but it dint solve the problem fully. I am still happy to use it and will buy more. Whatever helps her - I will do it! :)The smell isnt bad at all. Smells like a strong herbal tea. That's all. People complaining here about the smell of this item should really get a grip... they have made me think it will be absolutely horrible and it wasn't at all!!I did not buy the bandana, I just used my thin neck scarf and sprayed it on it. My dog is so fluffy (professional term ;)) that I didn't want to have her overheated. She's now calmer and looks so stylish! :D

Effective but smells ghastly
I'm really torn over this product. Firstly, and most importantly, it has a very good - almost immediate - calming effect on my dog. He gets very upset when a member of the family leaves the house (even if the rest of us are still there) and barks incessantly at the door for them. I used this spray and the barking stopped within minutes and he was happy to sleep / chill-out around the house. So on that front : BRILLIANT!However, it smells ghastly. I can only describe it as akin to rotten peas. It smells so bad, I'm not yet brave enough to use it in the car, where the dog is also very unsettled. So it's a real trade-off: yucky smell but calm doggo.

It Actually Works :-) :-) :-)
In October 2015 a friend of mine gave me a little of this spray that she had left as I’d one very nervous Shetland Sheepdog who was just less than 1 year old, (he was frightened of anything strange that moved, he was even frightened of his own shadow when the sun was out). Our youngest had already started taking skullcap and valerian in tablet form in early September but that wasn’t enough on its own, as he was still a little jumpy at certain things in strange places. So we started using this spray on his fur when he was going somewhere different and before he went to obedience class. It’s worked extremely well and has helped him immensely. It really relaxes him and he’s able to cope with everyday life as he’s not keen on loud and unfamiliar noises, it’s giving him the confidence to explore his world a little more outside the safety of his home without being terrified of things he’s not seen or heard before. The spray does have a pungent smell when first sprayed but it soon disappears. This isn’t just for dogs but can be used on cats, rodents, horses and birds. The main ingredients of the spray are a special proven blend of Valerian essential oil, blended with Vetivert, Basil Sweet and Sage. It’s safe to spray directly on your pet, but not recommended where they can lick it off. You can also to spray on bedding, carpet, soft furnishings and in your car, (onto a dog cover).I can highly recommend it as it’s certainly helped our little Sheltie and he’s certainly more relaxed in his everyday life. :-)
