A bit heavy for back packing, but I love it!
I used to use a lightweight wind guard but found that when I needed it most it was affected by the wind and blew in on itself, so stopped taking it with me and burned extra gas rather than risk having it knock over the stove. This one is most definitely NOT (by any stretch of the imagination) a lightweight windguard weighing in at over 2 kg (without the shelves.. More on them in a minute). So I don't recommend this for hiking/backpacking it's simply not worth the weight. The weight is my only negative. It's well built, solid and can be articulated to accommodate 2 x stoves or a double burner, by only folding in the two ends, or you can completely enclose a single burner. It's even got 2 x cut out sections (see photo) if like me you use 'pocket stoves' with a hose.I will be using this for moto/car camping where weight isn't such an issue, it folds down really small into it's own included bag and will easily slip into my top box or panniers without taking up any space.I won't bother using the 2 shelves for moto camping as they add bulk to the bag, but when we take the car and we're using the double burner, they will come in useful for utensils but also I've found that by slipping one over the join between the 2 middle plates it 'locks' them in a straight line, so well worth having them.Love it (but too heavy for backpacking)
