It may be too soon to tell how quickly this balm will work to lighten the lips, but I've been using it as a regular daily lip balm to keep my lips smooth and hydrated. It goes on smooth like butter

I bought the item for the sole purpose of brightening my dark lips. I have been using it as recommended but no improvement on the color. It does leave the lips soft.

I really like how Smith and buttery this lip balm goes on. It's silky consistency leaves my lips feeling moisturized for at least several hours. I'm so glad it's not doing and actually works. I also feel better knowing I'm putting tumeric and other me natural ingredients in my lips compared to chapstick that I've used in the past. It is actually one of the best balls that I've ever used. It's not greasy. It's not hard. It doesn't have scrubbing beads in it like the description mentions. It is definitely a balm for healing and softens.

This turmeric lip scrub leaves my lips soft and moisturized, especially overnight. It helps reduce dryness and makes my lips look more even. The balm has a nice matte finish, though the texture can feel a bit thick at times.

I’m rating this as a 2 star simply because it doesn’t do what it says it does. It says it’s a SCRUB. This is NOT a scrub. It is a chapstick type of balm. Don’t advertise it one way and then it not be that. It does feel good on so that is the reason it got a 2 star rating.

I was honestly a bit disappointed with this product, even though it did have some great qualities. I received it as advertised, it came with two lip balms, which was a nice touch. The texture was great: it glided on smoothly, felt lightweight, and left no stickiness behind. It definitely made my lips feel soft, moisturized, and more comfortable, especially since I struggle with dryness and cracking.However, I had higher hopes for the turmeric component. My lips aren’t dark, but I do have uneven pigmentation on my bottom lip from repeated cracking. I was hoping this balm would help even out the color and restore a more uniform appearance. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any real improvement in that area. It didn’t lighten or restore my natural tone, it just improved the texture.Overall, I’d say it’s a good lip balm for softening and hydration, but if you’re buying it with hopes of correcting lip discoloration or pigmentation, you might be disappointed. I’ll keep using it at night for the moisture benefits.
