I recently purchased the Sony SELP1650 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens after dropping my Sony A5100 on the ground, and I am thoroughly impressed! To be honest, I was a bit hesitant at first about buying a renewed product, but after using it, I can confidently say I can’t even tell it was renewed. It works like it’s straight out of the box brand new!The lens performs exceptionally well with smooth zoom and quick autofocus. The compact design makes it perfect for travel and street photography, while still providing excellent image quality. Whether shooting wide or zoomed in, the results are sharp and clear. The Power Zoom feature is a fantastic addition for shooting video, providing a seamless and controlled zoomI couldn’t be happier with the performance, and the fact that it’s a renewed product doesn’t affect its quality at all. Definitely worth the investment!

I dropped my original lens and this was much less expensive than getting a brand new one and it works great!

Refurbished? Yes first time to buy and great
I have a Sony A6100 DSLR camera, that I use for photography and video photography, this lens is the 16-55. My camera not knocked over by one of my grandchildren, and the camera came out unscathed, but my lens stopped working, and I didn't have the budget for a brand new one, and I have always been sceptical of buying refurbished electronics. But I didn't have much of a choice, so I read the reviews and they looked pretty good, so I thought 🤔 ok I will buy it, if it doesn't work I can always send it backBut just in case I liked it , I also purchased the extended warranty that Amazon offers from a third party company.Any way the lens works great and I have been using it quite a bit, lately I have been using it for video recording. Plus the photography.Thank you💯

Looks brand new at a great price.
It's the lens I was looking to replace at less than half the price. Perfect optics and no sign of use. The "reconditioning " must have been very long and hard or extremely easy.

Would not focus- small dent on front of lens
Lens will not focus. I can see the focus ring rotate as the autofocus attempts to work but it just moves back and forth a few times before giving up. Image remains grossly out of focus. There is a small dent on the front so maybe it’s damaged? This is what I get for buying a refurb. Returning.
